CASING TUBES

When the casing pipes are evaluated in terms of their general properties, there are 14 types of pipes with standardized outer diameters. Thicknesses are important depending on the load it will carry. In places where the load is high, products with high wall thickness are used. Each quality casing has a specific symbol and color. It is evaluated and used accordingly. The pipes are connected to each other with connection apparatus called mashons. Couplers are defined according to the wall thickness and outer diameter of the pipe to which they will be connected. It has two types as long and short mochons. These properties are important for the selection of casing pipes in drilling.
